Polyurethane Tie Rod Dust Boots
  • Repair torn and worn-out boots of suspension tie rod ends without having to buy the entire and expensive tie rod!
  • Adds durability surpassing most OEM rubber boots.
  • Exclusive 5 point sealing action.
  • Resist damage from rocks, sand, water, road salt, and oils better than many other O.E.M. rubber boots.
  • Made of Energy's HYPERFLEX performance polyurethane for added performance and durability
Footnotes
  • Includes 2 Boots Per Package.
Energy Suspension Tie Rod Dust Boots allow you to replace a damaged tie rod dust boot without buying an entirely new tie rod just for the dust boot. Additionally an alignment is not required because the tie rod is not adjusted out of place as it would be if the tie rod were simply replaced.

Energy Suspension Tie Rod Dust Boots have a 5 Point Sealing Action, which prevents loss of tie rod lubricant and also inhibits contamination from foreign material.

Pernell Benjamin Senior, Curacao - . Energy Suspension 9.13103
I saw your product on a modern suspension part for a 1970 Corvette for the first time and then saw that somebody else had used your products with great success. My last Porsche I bought came from California and all the rubber boots were dried up but the metal parts were like new and I reused them. It saved me couple of hundreds of dollars by using your product and "recycle" my Porsche parts to be like new again. Keep up the good work and maybe get some more usable sizes.
5 out of 5 - What I was missing
Per W Johansson - . Energy Suspension 9.13103
They are holding up.

Richard Schaumloffel - . Energy Suspension 9.13103
I had to select the closest size for my application, so it was not an exact fit. My main reason for purchasing was to avoid the drying and cracking normally associated with rubber boots. The tie rods for my application do not have a grease fitting, so these will allow me to peel them back enough to insert a little grease occasionally.\n\nIf I could change one thing about the product, I would include a grove around the inside of the larger opening. The rubber ones that I replaced head such a grove the allowed them to sit on a lip around the top of the tie rod body. I had to install them with the dust caps sitting over the tie rod body. Editors Note: These are universal boots. The idea is to get as good a fit as possible with accurate measuring.

5 out of 5 - Very good product
Robert Seibert - . Energy Suspension 9.13103
I bought these to replace some Dorman parts that failed after several months. The rubber on the made-in-China Dorman parts was starting to and split - same problem I had with their vacuum elbows. The polyurethane boots fit well and should probably last but I may install metal cable ties to prevent leaks at the tie rod body. I wish they made these with some provision to add grease through something like a port for a grease needle.\n\nEnergy Suspension take note, there is a large market for a greaseable kit to service failed dust boots.
5 out of 5 - Good quality part
Scott L. - . Energy Suspension 9.13103
Item was exactly what I was looking for to replace deteriorated rubber dust boots from the factory on my 1994 Mercury Cougar. Was able to grease the Tie Rod ends increase the steering flexibility without alot of noise.
5 out of 5 - Excellent, exceeded expectations
David Solomon - . Energy Suspension 9.13103
Got these to replace old boots on a 1st gen Miata. They fit the tie rod and upper ball joints perfectly. The joints were in good shape, but the boots were shot. This part looks higher quality and more durable than stock. FYI the oem boot is a bit hard to remove but it is possible.
5 out of 5 - Good parts that work as expected.

5 out of 5 - Impressive
Steve Brain - . Energy Suspension 9.13103
Application was on a 69 Lotus Europa, which uses Triumph Spitfire steering ends, so this all would apply to these as well. Installation was easy, clean and problem free. Selection of part was easy on the web site, which provided ample basic description and dimensions for reference. The fit seems fine, with enough ball joint overlap that it should seal fine. As this is the first time I have purchased polyurethane for this application, time will tell about ultimate efficiency and durability, but I am presuming very acceptable service from this product.
5 out of 5 - Seems to fit and work fine.

Thomas Capuano - . Energy Suspension 9.13103
I ordered a pair of these but I did not realize that each single order is enough for 2 ball joints.. So now I have a spare set LOL! Anyway, these are great and they saved me a lot of money. The tie rod ends were still in good condition but the rubber boots had pretty well deteriorated and were torn badly. I had to replace them when I changed the steering rack boots.. Not a particularly easy job. You need a puller or pickle fork to get these out and need to align the car afterward. Still, these seem to work well and save me about $150!
5 out of 5 - Parts are of good quality and seem to fit well
Manuel Patino - . Energy Suspension 9.13103
Didn't use these on a tie rod. Used them on some stabilizer end links on a 96 crown vic , so they didn't fit exactly right. Much better than the old ones. Links were good so this kept me from having to buy new ones. Satisfied!
5 out of 5 - good

Alex Polinskiy - . Energy Suspension 9.13103
I installed everything energy susp makes on the front end of my 97 civic. My car makes 400 hp an having good suspension is critical. I have them everywhere except the upper control arms. I use black because black is supposed to stay quiet. Using alot of grease is important. There is no such thing as too much. I installed all the parts by myself and the most annoying part was burning out the lower control arm oe bushings. A ball joint tool will help you alot installing. If you are not mechanically inclined installation is not for you. After the install I noticed the improvements instantly. It makes the front end tight again. Crisp. Inspires more confidence. Worth the money.
5 out of 5 - They are great. Better than oem. You can feel the part at work.
