Still seem to be holding up fine after a year. The studs are getting pretty rusty though. Wondering if they will come off when I need them to. Editors note: The bump stops studs do have a zinc coating to act as a rust inhibitor. No kind of coating will protect them from salt and chemicals that are used to clear the roads of snow and ice.

Very difficult to install, but when you research the forums everyone had the same problem with the first gen Xterra. Love the new low profile bump stops, they gave me the extra clearance I needed after doing a T-bar crank.
5 out of 5 - Sweet!!!

I used these bump stops on a 2001 Chevy Silverado. Took the bed off and needed to replace the ones there. I put a couple on the frame and cross tubes. On the tubes I drilled out the original hole that the originals snapped into, tapped them with a 3/8" tap, put thread lock on them and screwed them in. They worked great. I liked them better the original because they screwed in.

Still going strong. Worked well as replacements for the stock leaf spring stops that rotted out.

The product is great besides one minor flaw. The threaded part is much longer than it needs to be; it could be cut in half. Having it as long as it is now makes it very difficult to install the part without getting the vehicle up on a floor jack; which should not be necessary with something like this.
3 out of 5 - Good

I believe these bump stops will last a long time for my application and I would recommend them to others.

Easy to install no jacking up the rear. Just use a pry bar spread the leaf just enough to get the threaded end through the hole. Install washer (didnt come with) and tighten nut. Still all there. \n
5 out of 5 - Great
John Grant - . Energy Suspension 9.9132
Height was a little inconsistent, some were taller than others but not enough to matter. They work great at the ends of leaf springs to replace unavailable OEM parts.

Installed these on a 2002 Xterra with a PML(Poor Man Lift) consisting of a longer rear shackle and cranking up on the T-bars. Lost a lot of down travel as a result. These units helped me get a little of that back. No problems, no regrets. Work as intended, and you would never know they were there.\nIf you have stock A-arms and want a little more travel these work.

Replacing the same bump stops after 4 years. Once they get old and the bump stop gets deteriorated they become hard to get off. But the new ones go in easy

I have had these installed for about 1 month on my lowered Ford Ranger. Before installing I was running stock bumpstops which I had cut down with a hacksaw. These were a much needed upgrade and extended my suspension travel, which decreased the bumpiness of my ride. They were a little difficult to install but that was because I chose not to jack up the front end of the truck and because the bumpstops are not easy to get to in the first place. I recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade their stock suspension, and suggest ordering red because it will make your car faster :)
5 out of 5 - Better than OEM quality
Nathanael Stecker - . Energy Suspension 9.9132
I used the bump stop on my upper control arm in conjunction with a 2" spacer lift on my 2013 Nissan Frontier Pro-4x! Works great no metal to metal coil bucket contact from the upper control arm at full droop. I tapped my control arm so I could screw my bump stop in, instead of using the provided nut.
5 out of 5 - Very satisfied!
Corey G. - . Energy Suspension 9.9132
Install was easy the bolt could be shorter.
5 out of 5 - A+
Raymond Birchfield - . Energy Suspension 9.9132
These eliminated the rattle I have had from the rear suspension since I bought the truck. My only complaint is that the studs could be a 1/2" shorter. This would make it easier to install without the need to jack the truck. Once installed, there is close to 3/4" of threads beyond the nut.
4 out of 5 - Good

I used these low profile bump stops on the end of my overload leafs on my Chevy 2500hd to replace the stock plastic ones that had broken off. I had a lot of leaf spring slap and these fixed the problem completely. Thanks for what should be a permanent solution to a very noisy problem.
5 out of 5 - great product
bob bowen jr - . Energy Suspension 9.9132
After buying and installing some OEM replacement parts from the Chevy dealership, I was reading about these bump stops from Energy Suspension. I decided this is what I really needed and looked up energysuspension.com on the web. I ordered these and had them within a few days. They are high quality and a snap to install. And my truck is quiet again and rides like a new one.

I put these on my 1986 Toyota 4x4 in place of the stock bump stops. They fit great, and allowed me to crank my torsion bars another inch over stock position. Plus they look great.
5 out of 5 - Just what I needed
Jonah Kinchy - . Energy Suspension 9.9132
This is just what I needed to prevent my upper control arm from "topping out" after I put on a larger coil. I had metal to metal contact and installed this on the UCA and no more thuds when it tops out. This item is thin for those narrow spots to install it in, but extremely durable.
5 out of 5 - Great Product
Alpine Land Care - . Energy Suspension 9.9132
Very nicely built, install was very easy. As long as you're not using these to get more clearance to lift your ride these help mainly with the annoying speed bumps etc in the road. Pretty impressed so far
5 out of 5 - Smooth improvement
Jesse James - . Energy Suspension 9.9132
Items arrived in a timely fashion and were exactly as described. They are about half the height of the stock 2004 xTerra bump stops.
5 out of 5 - Very Good
Drew Shuller - . Energy Suspension 9.9132
These bump stops are the best. I have an 04 F150 with a 7 inch drop in the rear with no notch and when I do bottom out I hardly feel it! Also there ultra Slim to give you the most clearance possible and are incredibly easy to install. I will use these on any vehicle I lower. If energy suspensions bump stops are this great I can only imagine that all there products are top of the line. Oh and the price was my favorite part! Cheapest bump stops I could possibly find, and the only ones this slim.
5 out of 5 - AMAZING!!!
Shayne Smith - . Energy Suspension 9.9132
Good product. Nice low profile but still does the job. The install wasn't as easy as I was expecting. The existing holes on my 08 frontier weren't quite wide enough. The threading on the bump stops weren't long enough. Had to find just the right spot for the threads to be long enough and for the rubber part to have room to mount. Would've been easier to take the tires off to drill but really wasn't too bad. Much much cheaper than getting a new UCA. Worth the couple bucks especially if you can install it yourself
4 out of 5 - Much quieter ride
chris magliolo - . Energy Suspension 9.9132
These are some excellent parts. Installation was easy and quick. I would only suggest including some stainless steel washers with them.
5 out of 5 - Very Good
Brian Yarnell - . Energy Suspension 9.9132
I installed these bump stops on the upper A arms of an 04 Nissan Xterra. They gave me an extra inch of up travel but still provide ample damping on impact. The studs were a bit long but I just chopped them off with the grinder. The included nuts are nylon locking and aren't going anywhere. I would buy this product again and would not hesitate to order other parts from this site.
5 out of 5 - Awesome
Brendan McKee - . Energy Suspension 9.9132
With a little bit of know how and the right application, these low profile bump stops are a cheap way to increase droop travel off road (as long as the cv angles are not too acute). These stops can also be used in a limited aspect for many other 4x4 applications like tower stops on solid front axle suspensions. I used mine on a 2002 nissan xterra (still IFS). on the xterra or frontier, I suggest cutting at least half the stud off to get it to fit properly.
5 out of 5 - great product for the price.
Zach Bissonnette - . Energy Suspension 9.9132
Worked like a charm to stop overload springs from slapping.
5 out of 5 - great
Matthew OBrien - . Energy Suspension 9.9132
The reduced height was enough to allow a minimum of extra travel to my upstop which was just what I needed. It was easy to install and a perfect replacement for my original upstop. My application was a 2001 Isuzu VehiCross.
5 out of 5 - Nice product
