DST carries a 5-Year Warranty.
DST warrants their parts to be free of defects in materials and/or workmanship during this timeframe as measured from the date of purchase.
If a DST part should fail due to materials or manufacturing defects while under warranty, we will provide a replacement of the part upon return of the defective part.
Wearable RUBBER parts are not covered under warranty (Dust boots, bushings, bump stops, etc.)

This Front End Kit from DST will provide the ball joints, tie rod ends, and hardware you need to rebuild the front steering and suspension of your 80's Camaro, Firebird, or Trans Am with guaranteed fitment and part compatibility in one kit. If your Chevy or Pontiac is still equipped with the original factory front end parts they could be showing signs of wear like misaligned wheels or steering issues, but replacing those older parts can revive your suspension and tighten up your steering.
Why the Tire Wear?
The lower ball joints play a pivotal role in maintaining the alignment of your front wheels and if they become damaged or loose with wear then you can experience steering wander or uneven wear on your front tires, shortening their lifespan. Wear and tear is inevitable as every turn takes a toll on the ball joints and grease can begin to separate and leak over time leaving the ball joints without lubrication. The lower ball joints in this DST kit are equal to or greater than OE quality and even come with grease zerk fittings allowing for grease maintenance of the ball joint extending their effective lifespan.
Sad Steering Response
The tie rod ends connect the steering and the wheels so if that connection is loose then you might notice a hesitation in steering response. Whether you are powering through a corner in your Firebird, or maneuvering over an isolated windy road in your Trans AM, you don't want loose tie rod ends slowing the response of your steering input. New tie rod ends will allow more control of your vehicle by eliminating the looseness of worn rod ends in the steering linkage and giving you faster response.
