lock Warranty Information keyboard_arrow_down
Moog fulfills their warranty through their individual dealers. That means that in order to receive warranty support, you will have to refer back to the original dealer you purchased the part from. Be sure to check the dealer's warranty support before you buy the part to make sure that they will properly support the warranty. If a dealer will only refer you back to the manufacturer in order to receive warranty support, then you may not actually have any warranty at all.

Moog's Inner Tie Rods Have Wrench Flats!!
Having Trouble Changing Inner Tie Rod Ends?
You are now under your Dodge, Chrysler, or Plymouth midsize car to change out those worn inner tie rods that you know have been causing all of those clunking noises. There's a problem though isn't there? You can't easily uninstall your OE inner tie rods. You probably had to use a pipe or chain wrench and damaged your rack and pinion gear. This all could have been prevented if those tie rods would've simply come with wrench flats, am I right? This DST parts geek knows this and is here to help solve this problem so that you never have to go through all that trouble again. I give you Moog's EV323 that comes fully equipped with wrench flats for easy installation.
OE Design Flaw
The OE design of these inner tie rods didn't come with wrench flats, thus making it difficult to uninstall. So what you had to do is use a pipe or chain wrench. The problem with this is that, due to the lack of space, if you're not careful you can damage the rack and pinion gear. Also, it can be expensive to replace OE tie rods because they were only available as part of the entire rack and pinion assembly.
Moog Solves Your Problems by Adding Wrench Flats
No one wants to spend the money on the entire rack and pinion assembly if all you need to replace is the inner tie rods. Well, Moog doesn't make you do that. All you need is EV323 Moog's inner tie rod. EV323 has a standard wrench flat of 1-3/8" for easy installation. The wrench flats allow the proper torque to be applied when tightening the tie rod, while also avoiding the rack and pinion gear. The knurled stud also provides a positive grip when making toe adjustments.
Moog's Not Done Yet
With the added ease of installation you'll end up spending less money on this one part, rather than damaging your rack and pinion gear and have to replace it as well. Not only is this part cost efficient, but it also comes with a lifetime warranty that our customer service team here at DST can handle for you. The addition of Moog's lifetime warranty for EV323 should show you just how confident they are in their parts.
