When driving your sedan do you experience poor handling and a loose rear end? Maybe you've noticed your tires wearing out too quickly? Your Rear Lower Trailing Arm Bushings may have finally worn out. The Rear Lower Trailing Arm is designed to give you increased control over your vehicle while cornering or accelerating, and the bushings are made to maintain the Rear Lower Trailing Arm's position. Over time the OE rubber cracks and wears down, leaving your Trailing arm loose and unable to operate effectively. This leads to a rear end that's slow to respond to your steering, severely affecting your handling and wearing your tires out unevenly. Luckily, here at DST, we have the part for you!
The Synthetic Elastomer Solution!
What makes this problem worse is that there are no OE Rear Lower Trailing Arm Bushings available from the factory, this means that to fix this one problem technicians have to install entire Trailing Arms. Well, Whiteline has made the W61446 Rear Lower Trailing Arm Bushing Kit to solve these issues. This kit includes 8 synthetic elastomer half-bushings and 4 inner sleeves, enough to cover both the left and right sides. The split design in the bushings was meant to make installation easy, just separate the two halves, insert each half into each side of the Trailing Arm, then slip the sleeve through. Whiteline's synthetic elastomer is also much more durable than the OE rubber and is better suited for keeping your Trailing Arm in place for a much longer time.
