Complete Suspension Bushing Kit | Prelude 1992-2001

Ordered a complete bushing kit in red. I have never heard of using an old metal sleeve to be able to run new bushings. The front upper control arm bushings do not fit the 5th gen only the 4th generation prelude. I called them about it after I had them in already. They didn’t even know why it wouldn’t fit. We was back and forth emailing each other. I had to send them pictures of my service manual so they would understand how the 5th generation prelude upper control arms are. After 2 days of them talking to there “engineers” they said I have sh control arms in my base model. (I definitely have base control arms) after 3 days they finally graduated to send me the type sh upper control arm bushings. Finally got them and they sent black when everything else is red. Also if you put the ones they send in the kit in it will bend your mounting bracket. Ask me how I know.\nEditors Note: We have been having issues with that generation of Prel ude concerning the upper control arm bushings. Our thoughts are Honda changed the design to the SH front upper control arms. Energy or we did not know this.

I bought this kit for my 1997 Honda Prelude BB8 5-th Generation (i live in Austria). Yes, this kit for the 92-96 Prelude fits the 5th generation BASE Prelude. Just the front upper control arm bushings does not fit from the kit, the rest fits perfect for my Lude. If you want to COMPLETE your bushing kit for the 5 gen. BASE Prelude you have to buy the Rear Trailing Arm Bushing Kit (16.7105), front sway bar bushing kit (16.5123) and rear sway bar bushing kit (16.5122) and of course the bushings for the front upper control arm (I did not find any from ES, just search in the aftermarket) or you buy the whole control arm with the bushings and the ball joint already in place. After the install (it takes a while to change them), and of course after a new track, steering alignment, my car feels like new. 100 % recommend. And, it is cheaper then buying original Honda bushings (and you did not find all of them at Honda, you have to buy for example the whole front under control arm because you CAN`T buy just the bushing from Honda).
