Energy Suspension Strut Arm Bushings

Strengthening Driver Control

Designed to increase driver control while braking or accelerating, strut arms secure your control arm to the chassis. Strut arm bushings protect the connections between the strut arm, the control arm, and the chassis. It's incredibly important to keep these connections in pristine condition, otherwise you'll undoubtedly start encountering handling issues at times when driver control is most vital.

Upgrading Dependability and Longevity

The OE strut arm bushings installed on your vehicle are made of soft rubber. this rubber is prone to stretching, cracking, and rotting away. Energy Suspension offers their Hyperflex polyurethane bushings as a substantial upgrade over the OE rubber. Easily capable of resisting road contamination and physical wear, Energy's strut arm bushings will securely strengthen your strut arm and enhance your control. To top it off Energy Suspension covers their strut arm bushings with a two-year warranty handled in-house here at DST.

starstarstarstarstar" Great Product! "

I purchased these to replace stock radius rod bushings on my 99 SH and I am very happy with the quality and increased durability. Installation was also fairly easy with the right tools. I have just purchased the rest of the front bushings because of the quality of these.

Removing the stock bushing by heating with a propane torch was simple and took me about 20 min for both. As I don't have a hydraulic press, I bolted a set of spring compressors together and with two small pieces of plywood, used them to press in the new bushings. It took a little bit of wiggling to get it to press in straight, but only took about 10 min. The arm that was still warm (not hot) from the torch was easier to press than the cold one. I'm still putting the car back together as this is only a small part of a bigger project but the parts fit perfect and I am looking forward to installing more energy suspension bushings in the future. Thanks for making such a great replacement part!
