Prothane 71207

Little bushing fit perfect, the buffer bushing was too small. I had my local machine shop make a bushing and then used the larger bushing from the kit. Editors Note: Talked to the customer about this issue. He found out that that there was a third panhard bar that was used on the Impala that nobody was aware of.

This part was a perfect match for my panhard rod. Its important to get the right one, since Chevy had two different designs in the early vs. late 60s models. The only difference in this part is that my OEM metal inserts had serrated ends--greater resistance to slipping I suppose, or maybe less prone to rust together? Anyway, this part fit and works great.
