The sway bar is a part of the suspension that connects the leveling between the left and right wheels. If one sides tire tries to rise while making a turn, the sway bar pulls it down but a worn rubber bushing can make the bar less effective. Issues with Rubber

Rubber or Polyurethane?

Since the bushings absorb the vibration between the bar and the frame, the driver receives almost no increase in noise and ride harshness.
