Rear Track Bar Bushings | 1991-1997 Toyota Landcruiser 80 Series
Polyurethane Track Bar Bushings from Energy Suspension provide a stability and durability upgrade for your 91-97 Landcruiser 80 Series over the softer OE rubber bushings by holding the arm position more securely. If you notice some issues with the straight line tracking, uneven tire wear, or clunking sounds from the rear then you might be in the market for some new rear track bar bushings.

Less Durable Rubber
While the track arm, or track bar / panhard bar, is solid metal and designed to take a beating with suspension movement the bushings that sit between the bar and the axle or chassis are made of rubber. Over time those bushings will wear down and form gaps or breakdown completely which leaves a lot of looseness in your track bar meaning unstable axle alignment and can allow things like side-to-side movement of the axle. This axle movement can make maintaining the straight line tracking of your Landcruiser more difficult.
Upgrade Your Handling
Polyurethane track bar bushings can upgrade the anchor points of the track bar making it more stable and better able to control the side-to-side movement of the axle. Besides being more rigid than rubber, polyurethane bushings are impervious to conditions that degrade rubber like road salts in icy climates or the salty air in costal areas or just plain heat or excessive suspension travel. For long term durability polyurethane is a much better investment for a Landcruiser that is going to be used harshly or in harsh conditions.
