- Energy Suspension warrants its products against defects in workmanship and material for 7 years or 750,000 miles when used on passenger cars and light trucks. Products that have been abused, altered, or incorrectly installed are not covered. Energy Suspension will replace defective products or component parts, if inspection for factory personnel determines the part to be defective. Warranty replacement covers only the product. Labor claims, time loss, or freight charges will not be honored.

This thing is great. I was concerned about the extra vibrations this may cause, but its really not too bad. I cut my wheel hop down by 90% while running the stock diff, with the LSD I recently installed, the wheel hop came back a bit, but overall it has been drastically reduced.\n\nI was irritated with other makers of this product, charging $30-$40 for this is silly, Energy Suspension has it priced where it should be. Great deal, great performance.\n\nOne minor complaint is that the hardness of this insert cant be found anywhere. Please add the hardness of this insert to the description. The only reason I bought it was the price, I thought, if its too hard, I am out $12, no biggie. It would have been nice to compare the hardness with other brands.\n\nBuy it. Cant go wrong.

I recently installed the insert on my Mk6 GTI. Since this is a Mk5 insert, it required some trimming. Installation was probably done in less than 10 min. Wheel hop has drastically decreased and the car feels "tighter" when shifting. Recommended!

Installed this on my 2012 Mk6 GTI cut per mod shacks diagram (cut skinny pieces off completely and 3/8" off each side of main column) and it works perfect. Trimmed similar to the Autotech insert there is very little vibration at idle, hardly any while driving, and a touch in reverse. Helped give shifting a more positive, quick, and smooth feeling and WELL worth the cost/15 minutes for install!
