Energy Suspension Sway Bar Bushings
Energy Suspension Hyperflex Sway Bar bushings are made of polyurethane, which is a much more durable material for suspension bushings than rubber. Polyurethane does not break down due to road grime, weather or oils the way the rubber can. Have the peace of mind knowing you have a long lasting part on your sway bar with Energy Suspension's sway bar bushings. Energy Suspension's polyurethane sway bar bushings provide a secure grip on the sway bar and do not warp over time. With this snug grip, your vehicle will see a performance boost similar to installing a larger sway bar.
Faulty Rubber
A sway bar's function is to maintain the maximum amount of road contact during tires. The sway bar is held to the frame of the vehicle with a sway bar bushing. Original Equipment rubber can warp and/or crack, losing its grip on the bar. This causes your sway bar to lose its effectiveness. Just look at the old rubber sway bar bushing to the left. Imagine how good of a grip that thing could keep on a sway bar. Go with Polyurethane.
Be sure to use Formula 5
The sway bar bushing sees a lot of action, so make sure you grease it well with Energy Suspension's own Formula 5 Bushing Lubricant. Using plenty of grease is the best way to ensure a long lasting part without any squeaking. If you'd like some extra grease just in case, pick up an extra 3 pack or an 8 ounce tube.

Energy Suspension 4.5195
starstarstarstarstar" Review 2 Years Later "
2 years later, no dreaded rear end thump on the rear end sway bar. Glad I did this on my 2012 mustang. Gt. \n

Had a knocking sound coming from under the rear of my 2012 Mustang GT. Found the bushings in the rear swaybar end links worn and loose. Could not find replacement end links for my 24 mm swaybar. Order the replacement bushings from suspension.com. Parts arrived in a few days. Used a vice and wood blocks to press the bushings in. Took several tries but it finally worked. I would suggest using a press if available. No more knocking noise under the rear of my car.

Energy Suspension Team, \nI just wanted to let you know how impressed I am with the entire experience Ive had with Energy Suspension! From product searching, purchasing, support and last but not least the performance of the bushings! It was a bit of a job, to replace the bushings without a press or vice, but well worth it! Old stock bushings made my Mustang sound like an old farm truck over bumps. Energy Suspension bushings give my car a better feel with handling and the best part, I cant hear them! \nThank you!\nScot Marshall\n

After doing a bit of research I figured it was the sway bar bushing making the knocking noise when I hit bumps in the Mustang. These are great! Easy to install and much better than the stock parts! Took longer to take the tires and the sway bar off than to install the bushings. Just be sure to clean the sway bar off.

- Question:
- How do I tell if I have a 24mm bar for the 4.5195 bushing kit?
- Answer:
- You will need to measure your sway bar diameter. One easy way is to take a crescent wrench and tighten it around your bar at, or right by where your sway bar bushings are. Then measure from prong to prong, and that is your bar diameter.
- Question:
- Will part number 4.5195 fit my 2012 mustang?
- Answer:
- As long as you have the 24mm rear sway bar, part number 4.5195 will fit the 2012 mustang.
