- Energy Suspension warrants its products against defects in workmanship and material for 7 years or 750,000 miles when used on passenger cars and light trucks. Products that have been abused, altered, or incorrectly installed are not covered. Energy Suspension will replace defective products or component parts, if inspection for factory personnel determines the part to be defective. Warranty replacement covers only the product. Labor claims, time loss, or freight charges will not be honored.

Motor Mount Inserts
Energy Suspension Motor Mount Inserts (5.1118) are designed to keep your engine properly aligned with the drivetrain. Compatible with the Ram 1500 (2009-2018), these inserts reinforce the factory motor mounts by filling voids in the OE rubber mounts, helping reduce excessive engine movement and improve overall drivetrain stability.
Failing Motor Mount Symptoms
Worn or soft factory motor mounts can allow excessive engine movement, leading to increased vibration, clunking during acceleration or shifting, and reduced drivability. As motor mounts fail, uncontrolled engine movement under load can create thumping, or knocking sounds as components shift out of proper alignment.
Energy Suspension Performance Polyurethane
Energy Suspension uses high-durometer polyurethane to reduce mount deflection while maintaining durability under heat, load, and pressure. Polyurethane is more durable than factory rubber, and helps maintain engine alignment during towing, or heavy acceleration. Because these inserts are firmer than OE rubber, they may slightly increase NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness). Red and black inserts perform the same the color is purely cosmetic, though red may make wear easier to spot.
