Replace That Rubber!
After years of exposure to heat and repeated impacts the factory rubber bushings deteriorate and no longer provide the necessary cushion for your truck's suspension components. Old bushings don't just create an uncomfortable ride, they contribute to accelerated tire wear and unpredictable handling when they allow your suspension to shift and change your alignment.
Control Arm Upgrades
All of the bushings for both the upper and lower control arms are replaced on the front suspension with this kit. Polyurethane's material strength and deflection resistance are key upgrades for the front control arms that absorb the majority of the braking and cornering forces. Reduced deflection in the front control arms also creates crisper steering and preserves your alignment for better tire wear and handling.
Leaf Spring Upgrades
At the rear, all of the leaf spring bushings are swapped to polyurethane. This change to a stronger material allows your leaf springs to maintain your rear axle alignment during braking and accelerating to prevent thrust angle changes that cause unpredictable handling.
