These bolted on to an after market sway bar of a different manufacturer without difficulity.

I am very impressed with these bushings on my 02 WRX hatch. I do light rally cross, and spirited street driving and they feel great on both. the steering is stiffer and much more responsive, they have an over all great feel. It does make bumps a bit harsher on initial impact, so if you want a nice soft ride I wouldn't recommend them, but who needs that when compared to turn in?
These are awsome. Totally fixed the squeaking and clunky sound I had going on when I went over speed bumps. Easy to install the sway bar bushings. Not sure where the end link bushings go as they look nothing like the one I have. Better picture of where they go on the vehicle would definitely help the weekend mechanic like myself.
Very impressed with the overall quality of my experience. Will admit, was a little iffy about placing the order with energysuspensionparts.com, being online and the risk of fraud and all but I ordered anyways. I had a concern about sway bar bushings, and shot email to customer support for my concern, they responded immediately with a clear, informed response. Received my gear in a very quick period (within five days of order) and loved the immediate difference the poly bushings made to my 82 280zx coupe! Will recommend these guys to anyone looking for similar parts!
These bushings were much better than the 23 year old bushings I pulled off my car, however after 2 years these bushings are just as worn as the originals. I have since replaced them with solid aluminum bushings.
Energy suspension is great. I have always liked the added stiffness these bushings provide, I have heard that on the 720 4wd pickups these polyurethane control arm bushings wear quickly. Only time will tell. Although, I think the added control is worth replacing these every 30k miles. Especially since the spindle bolts seize into the bushing sleeves easily, and are difficult to remove when this happens.
These bushings added stiffness to my suspension and improved cornering on my 84 720 pickup. My only issue is that they don't come with a new link bolt or sleeve, but that was nothing a wire wheel couldn't fix
This is the stickiest, nastiest, most wonderful grease for bushings I have found. I hate working with it as I have to wear gloves and it gets everywhere, but the properties that make it such a PAIN to work with make it an exceptional grease. I buy 2 tubs at a time and hand pack it into a grease gun for use with Zerk fittings.
Took a few weeks to receive...nobodys fault because they were back ordered...but excellent communication all along the way. The included grease packet was a pleasant surprise...didnt need anything else but my own tools. Installation was a snap. The bushings are split, so you dont have to slide them over the end of the sway bar...just use a screwdriver or other flat tool to "open" the bushing, and work it in place. All the original hardware and brackets can be reused, but since my old rubber bushings were soft and squishy, it took some muscle to get the hardware started. I bought these bushings to solve a noise problem, and the noise problem has been solved Whether there is a performance gain, I couldnt say...Im still running on stock replacement suspension components, but if these bushings ever wear out, Ill be replacing them with the same.
My view on this is Great! Product is easy to install once you do the nasty work of removing the old rubber from the bushing sleeve. The only thing that I didn't quite understand is why the shim (the circle doughnut deal in the pic)comes so large. They should fit better on the end of the bushing so when you wedge the control arm back on they don't slide down and bulge so bad.
Perfect fit for my oem leafsprings . No squeaks and looks like it will last a long time. Wish there was a check for order of black or red on ebay listing though. Picture was red and shipped black. Thanks for helping me complete my job!
These are great all-around bushings. I used them to make up some engine and trans mounts for a swap and they worked out well. The picture shows two sets and the description says two sets and you get two sets, but I somehow missed all that and bought twice as many as I needed. That's fine... Ill just save them for another project. But, if you're ordering parts late at night like I was, pay attention!
I installed these components on a 2003 Silverado that is used as a weekend warrior "race truck". I have nothing negative to say about the sway bar mounts/bushings. I am running a Belltech 1.375" front sway bar and these mounts bolt in flawlessly also being grease-able is ideal for removing the dreaded poly bushing "squeak". As far as the end links, I was unable to use them since I have an aftermarket lower control arm w/ aftermarket front sway bar. It places the bar ends too high. This may work great on a stock front suspension, but I couldn’t tell you. I ended up using a different bolt and trimming the sleeve to make it fit correctly. This is expected with me once aftermarket components are installed, angles and gaps change. You can also use these end link bushings so for your shock mount. ;-) Overall great product! Nice and beefy! Oh yeah, one more thing... mine did not come with the grease packet, so make sure you have an extra tub ready! ;-)
A good quality kit, increases suspension feel and responsiveness. Increases road noise due to polyurethane being stiffer than rubber, but that is what increases performance. The bolts for the sway bar are too short and you will need to go to a hardware store and buy some longer ones. They only need to be 1/4 of an inch longer. Don't try and make the bolt work it's not worth the trouble. Over all you will get a much better suspension feel and performance over O.E.M. Rear control arm bushings are really hard to get in too.
I have not used my car much since installation. Handling feels a little better than the original parts, although I expected to experience more improvement in handliing. However, I am more interested in experiencing the long-term durability of these bushings under the extreme conditions I put my car under. I will have to wait longer to provide feedback on this.
I have used these before and will continue using them , excellent performance , a pain to install but its worth it in the long run ,you will notice the difference between stock and ENERGY SUSPENSION stiffer more responsive suspension and steering. YOU WONT REGRET IT ! ! GUARANTEED . . . . . . . .
??? Editors note: When choosing universal bump stops it is important to do some careful measuring so you get the correct bump stop that will fit what you are installing them on. The listing shows clearly shows the profile and dimensions of the bump stops.
the bushings arrived in a very timely manner and were easy to install. all instructions were clear and there was plenty of grease for the bushings included. I am very happy with this product and look forward to my next order!

I used these to make a set of motor mounts for a military generator. The original mounts were unavailable and obsolete. The product worked flawlessly when installed in a 2.25x.250 DOM sleeve, and was a much cheaper option than buying a 20+ year old used part.
The polyurethane bushings are a night and day upgrade. The stock bushings were going out and with the new bushings from Energy Suspension makes the handling of the truck better than ever. The only drawback is that it takes a little longer to install because you have to press out the old metal sleeve otherwise its straight forward.
A good product, you just need to indicate that the endlink bolt is shorter than stock because it was a little difficult to get the nut on the bottom. The bolt had no more threads for the nut to grab on to so i had to squeeze the bushings together at the top with vice grips in order to get some room to screw the nut on. Great product other than that.
This was a great solution for the non-existant factorybushings. Plan your day,PB Blast the mounting bolts well ahead and take your time dropping the rear end. Use a 2.5 inch hole saw to cut out the bearings, and then torch them out by melting the rubber, (it smells awful). Prying the rings out as per the instructions is a little far fetched, I needed an Air chisel to get them out. Bench vice as a redneck press works great. Dont forget to apply the lube to the proper places, otherwise youll have a squeaky ride.. (guess what I didnt do..... )
These inserts are perfect. When I took of my old mounts they were completely gone; I mean nothing was holding. I thought I had to get some new mounts for the inserts to work, but I decided to try them any way, and it did the job. With blown out mounts, the inserts made them like new and better. Glad I bought them.
Improved overall handling and comfort of car. It was a lot easier to install than I thought. I just removed the trailing arm, used the hammer to hit out the arms, burned the rubber in the old grill and installed the new bushings. It took me 4 hrs, and I was done.
Everything was easy to install. The only problem I had was they didn't come with the upper metal sleeves. Mine where all rusted out and u can't get these from the dealer so I had to spend $40 at the junk yard on another set of control arms to make these bushings work. Not very happy!!!
Installing these new bushings was easy. Getting the old stock OEM rubbers out was a PAIN. Just use a torch to heat up the leaf spring "eyelet" until the old rubber is HOT and they pop (push) right out. Cut out the OEM steel liner and use a wire brush to clean the leaf spring eyelet. The new bushings slide right in with the silicone lube. They do not sage like the old rubber bushings. Definitely tightened up the front suspension. Other brands require the new bushing to be pressed in, these are DIY bushings.
I only use energy suspension when doing frame off projects. Ive put them in trucks, cars( muscle and tuners). The takes out factory and years of slack on hold worn out suspension. And the factory body roll and twist tightens up. Recommend to anyone wanting a superior product for there rebuild
10k miles since. No squeaking. Although i do wish lengths with bushing sizes where matched to a picture on where they go. On the supra they can fit in many locations. I currently have 2 in the wrong place just dont want to take it apart again and have alignment done
This is a must have. I have swapped out every one of my bushings and this is the most noticeable difference in the rear. The stock bushing compared to this one is sooo flimsy and weak. Definitely noticed the rear feels more firm.
If you are considering buying these, do it! They really helped make the car a pleasure to drive again! I no longer have a clunking when shifting into reverse or letting off the accelerator when cruising. Worked great in my Mark VIII and took only a few minutes to swap out! Best price and super fast shipping! Cant praise these enough!
Probably the best thing I have bought for the 7. It is . like driving a different, better handling car. The car makes a good amount of power and would get horrendous wheel hop while on the throttle. After all the things I have bought the bushings finally fixed the problem. Going to buy new bushings for the rest of my older cars
Very straightforward to install, and installs just like the original part with no hassles. After test driving my car, you could immediately feel the difference these bushings made. The front end feels more precise thanks to the stiffer material that these bushings are made of, which makes you think, "why did not Honda put these in to begin with?" Nonetheless, they made my old cars front-end feel like new again. THANKS!!
Better than I expected. I was afraid of it making the ride a bit too harsh or noisy, but the ride is actually better comparing to the "shot" original bushing. Noise level isnt any worse. The car turns much better. Tough to remove the old bushings, but super easy to install once removal is done. Nice upgrade.
Installation was straight forward but tedious due to the bar is mounted on top of the cross member. Not much room to work with. The grease fittings are positioned perfectly as they come. Do notice front end is now cornering flatter, steering responses quicker. Wish brackets come painted to prevent rust. My car already has Eibach pro springs, Koni yellow, Progress rear bar and TRD strut bar, this is a good addition. Good performance gain for the small price paid. Great service from you guys.
As it turns-out, I have not used the parts I purchased a year ago, as I have not needed them. I did, however, use the same parts in a previous application and was pleased with their performance.
These were a little tricky to install on my 2012 GT using a bench vice but a bit of silicon lubricant and plenty of patience helped. This install completed my rear end transformation which also included new panhard bar and brace, lower control arms and springs. The rear is definitely more planted now than stock and removes that back of mind feeling that the rear end will get away from you on corners. Good price for a good product.
They arrived promptly and were exactly as described. Everything fits. The only problem is the item wasnt well described on the internet. What I needed was 2 bushings so I ordered 2. In the box there were 2 bushings in each box, so I bought more than I needed. Its nice to have some spares so Im not complaining because they were very reasonably priced. As far as how well they perform, I dont know. Theyre on a race car that isnt running yet.
I bought these for my 82 Mustang GT because one of the original brackets broke. I liked the zerk lube fittings, but unfortunately I had to remove them because they interfered with the stock female fastening bracket which snaps into the frame mount. I tried using new bolts and nuts, but quickly lost patience lining them up. The stock piece made installation convenient, but without the zerk fittings.
Once I got the old OEM bushing out of the old end links, the job went very smooth. Save yourself time by going to a shop that has a hydraulic press and have them press the old bushings out. A little more grease (extra tube) in the kit would be beneficial as this would allow for generous application to all parts. Dramatic improvement over the old worn out OEM bushings and I'm certain they will hold up better over time.
A must have for any cummins owner. Fairly easy and straight forward swap. Automatics are a little tricky just be careful of the tranny lines. Once in they feel great. Kills just about all the wobble on start and stop and my rig has over 250k miles. Stock 1994 12v ram 4x4
Installed them in a 1999 Ford F350 4x4 diesel. work great took out a lot of wandering on the road. I used them to replace bushings that came with a rough country suspension lift. The rough country bushings failed after less than 1 year. If you buy a rough country lift dont trust the bushings. Ive used energy suspension products in other vehicles with great service from the products, meaning no failures or noticeable wear.
It took some time to isolate each ball joint but once isolated, it was a breeze putting these on. This saved so much money I cant say enough about them. It's been well over a month now and everything is fit and tight. Thanks for having these available. In so many words: PRICELESS!
I had a noise in my front end for months, mechanic blamed the noise on "tight struts". I had the original stabilizer bushings replaced but the noise was still there. Original end links looked "ok" as viewed by the naked eye. I decided to change out the stabilizer bar end links just to see if this front end noise would be gone. I am very happy to report that by installing these Energy Suspension stabilizer bar end links, my front end noise has disappeared. A definite upgrade from the stock units.
Had to make adjustments to the mounting holes. Nice look, a little bit noisy. In general I do not recommend installing this type of bushing to a convertible. Chassis is too flexible and the shock and vibrations of the road transmits noticeably to the body of the car.
Great product made my car handle so much better definitely doing this upgrade on my next car and possibly my truck. Installation was not bad I did it myself but I was working in an auto shop so it made it easier the only hard part is pressing out the old bushings, if you do not have a press it will be difficult. Other than that love the product, excellent purchase for any vehicle.
Putting this in my 95 Nissan 240SX was easy. I highly recommend these over solid aluminum where you would have to remove the bushing sleeves and potentially damage the subframe. Just be sure to use a motorcycle/ATV jack and two 2x4s for support instead of two regular jacks to lower the subframe. DO NOT FORGET TO REPLACE THE FOUR MOUNTING NUTS. They are locking nuts that have to be replaced after every removal. Just follow the package instructions.
I installed these on my 91 300ZX and the difference was night and day! The original bushings were completely deteriorated, and after installing these, my car felt way more responsive. I'm definitely happy with these, and would definitely recommend them.
I ordered these bushings because I could not find any Subaru specific bushings big enough to fit my 26mm sway bar. These things are awesome. I have pulled my sway bar off since installing these bushing to check for wear and tear (been through 3 autocross weekends) and they look brand new. A very good product and at an amazing price!
I used a ton of these to mount my engine, transmission, and two transfer cases in a rock crawler fit was the key thin here and everything fit great, for the 1.75 inch tubing I was welding however a little wider would have been nicer, but it did work.
I honestly thought the parts were nice but when it came to installation it was a pain in the rear because the parts kept squeezing out of the mounts and I could not even get the rear one in because of how it popped out every time I put it in. For the money its worth it though.
Added into the trans crossmember (the parts you remove when you do a trans mount). It was VERY quick and easy and 1/3 the price of the whitelines. Love the stealth-black option.
I used these for a 1972 Mercedes 280SEL. The front lower control arm bump stops were no longer available. I took an air hammer and chiseled the factory cups off the arms and was able to just enlarge the factory predrilled hole and bolt them on. I ended up having to space them slightly to make them tall enough. I think a bump stop similar to this that is another 1/2 inch or so would have been perfect, but these worked great.
I used these for a rear bumpstop on a 1972 Mercedes 280SEL that I put air ride on. The factory bumpstops were no longer available. The Mercedes plate simply unbolts, you remove the original bonded rubber from it, enlarge the predrilled hole to bolt the new bumpstop on, and enlarge the predrilled hole that is in the chassis. It was almost a literal bolt in without having to fabricate much. Everything worked perfectly!
Ive had my set on for 3 months the handling improvement was night and day. I will be installing energy bushings on every car I own. Buy this. You will understand as soon as you hit 70 around a cloverleaf.
1st off - a bit of history... Local independent shop that Id been taking my daughters 00 Tacoma to for years said "The Tacoma needed new rack bushings, but that racks have always started leaking after they replaced the bushings, and that I should just replace the rack for ~$800." My BS meter pegged and after doing some online research, found you guys linked in a replacement how-to. Got the parts, and, knowing just enough to be dangerous, it took me a grand total of 45 minutes to replace the rack bushings and the sway bar bushings - $50 vs: $800 - Sweet! I have since found a new mechanic... This is a GREAT product - much, much better than the OEM part. Highly recommended.
I installed only compression rod bushings from the kit, because other bushings were replaced before ES kit came out. These bushings are sore spot on 350Z and G35s and factory replacement solves problem only temporarily. Installation took about an hour. Result-tighter front end, no more clunk. These bushings were in for a month or so, I did not notice any squeaks.
Great product, getting the old bushings out was a task. I had to use a 12 ton press. Wish I had a 20 ton. The new bushings are awesome, feels like a new front end. Gonna get the rear set next. I highly recommend these.
I was looking for something to quiet the thunking of my front end. Ford wanted $75 for each link arm PLUS installation. Order this kit and even though I had to go to Pep Boys to get the old parts pressed out and the new ones pressed in, it took less than a day. Now the front end is quiet and tight. 2003 F350 6.0L dsl crewcab
These bushings are good and offer excellent quality for a good price. The only thing is the poor install instruction quality. It should have some clear and well illustrated instruction so people can install it easily. I broke a set trying to install it. I bought a second one and found a video on the internet how to install it and now everything's fine. Overall its a very good product.
I recently purchased the red energy suspension sway bar bushings and end links for my 72 Nova. I found them to be very easy to install, great price, and they just look good. The people at AFTER MARKET SUSPENSION PARTS are great.
These were very easy to install without a shop press or any special tools. I used a big 8" C clamp and a block of wood to push in one that was very tight (I think my metal sleeve was not perfectly round). Otherwise they just slid right in.
This part was needed to complete the installation of upgraded Hotchkiss Engineering anti sway bars on my Subaru Legacy. Hotchkiss did not supply the proper brackets in their several hundred dollar "complete" kit. Energy suspension to the rescue!! The parts fit with a slight mod. The required mod was not in any way a detraction from the part. It was simply a fact due its generic form factor. I love the price and selection of diameters available. The grease zerks are a definite plus. Additionally, Thank you for not raping me on the shipping. I make lots of online purchase and getting nicked by a seller making S&H a hidden part of the sales price is definitely a deal breaker. Energy didn't do that. +++ The bushing feels a lot harder than the OEM. That is quite OK because I made the mods in the interest of a lot firmer ride. I would definitely recommend all fellow gear heads give Energy a look. Thanks
Professional and knowledgeable parts associates. Great communication with fast shipping. The new polyurethane bushing made a big difference the way my 2003 SVT Cobra handled. Will be a return customer with Energy Suspension. Allan
We had to mount the vertical set upside down ! The shape of the vertical bushing in my PT Cruiser lower control arm did not allow to mount part # 3406 ( bush with the overlapping dust cover ) at the top. The part would be heavily deformed. So we mounted everything upside down. The position of the control arm with regard to the chassis remains the same. The car drives nicely. With less overlap of the mounting could be performed as indicated in the leaflet. Editors Note: The instructions are very specific regarding the installation. See the installation instructions for kit 5.3129 for the correct procedure.
Well my truck is here in Norway and my cheapest alternative locally for this part was well over $100.00. And forget buying these items from the Dealers who make the truck. The price is unbeatable and the quality is excellent. Shipping was fast.
I havent replaced the leafspring bushings yet because I need new leafsprings. However, everything else went smoothly. I could feel improvements in my trucks handling right away. With a little creativity and basic tools, replacing the bushings was fairly easy. Order the extra lube and apply generously, and you shouldnt have too much in the way of trouble in replacing the old bushings with new.
These bushings took almost all the slop out of my truck. It quit wandering down the road like a hound dog trying to find a scent. I HIGHLY recommend replacing your factory track arm bushings with these. If your truck is wandering, you will notice the difference right away. The easiest way to remove the old bushings is to use a ball joint removal tool.
Received these in just a couple of days. Fit perfectly and look great. I've been in the custom vehicle business for over forty years. I've worked for Magoos Street Rods and Gene Winfield. I highly recommend Energy Suspension parts for your muscle car or hot rod. Allen Ridderhoff
The parts are exactly as expected. Good quality machined to specs. The order process a little difficult tho. Would like to see pics of items online before ordering. Order came quickly and no issues with product. Glad I used this company.
This is just what I needed to prevent my upper control arm from "topping out" after I put on a larger coil. I had metal to metal contact and installed this on the UCA and no more thuds when it tops out. This item is thin for those narrow spots to install it in, but extremely durable.
