Whiteline Control Arm Bushings
A control arm bushing plays a vital role in a suspension. Replace those faulty O.E. rubber bushings with Whiteline's synthetic elastomer control arm bushings. These elastomer bushings provide the longevity and performance needed to maximize a suspension's efficiency.
Whiteline's synthetic elastomer is a firmer bushing than the O.E. Not only does this increase the longevity of the bushing, but it gives the suspension a boost in handling performance. With a firmer bushing, there will be a slight increase in NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness), but most drivers prefer the boost in performance in spite of that.
The Faulty O.E.
As your suspension travels, a rubber control arm bushing is repeatedly stretching and flexing. After a while, the center sleeve begins to sag and your suspension alignment is throw out of whack. The sagging will go on until the rubber fails completely.

These bushings have held up well after 2 years. I drive this vehicle every day on mountain roads, long highway commutes, rough dirt/gravel, and occasionally towing. They are firm and do not squeak. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an upgrade but willing to compromise some road noise (stock rubber bushings are quieter).

So far so good. I live in the mountians so I off road everyday. First couple of months was very noisy but now they are fine.

No fault of Whiteline but these were a tough install. Due to the tight space around them I couldnt use my 12 ton press to remove the old ones. Reassembly went way easier. I also replaced the rear bushing which was a snap due to the fact that I could use my press to disassemble and reinstall the new one. The result was a much more rigid front end which really improved the handling of my old Subaru. I am thinking of doing all the rear suspension bushings now.
