Energy Suspension’s Official Universal Dust Boot listings are very limited. We have taken all of their application specific dust boot sets and measured them for your convenience. Most dust boot sets include 2 different boots. Unfortunately if you only need one of those pieces – we cannot part out the larger kit. Bold Text Indicates the Universal Dust Boots Set Includes Only That Piece.
Measurements have been made on multiple specimens with a digital caliper.
- Dimensions A and B: The polyurethane is flexible and will stretch slightly. Energy Suspension’s recommendation appears to be to use a part that is approx 0.5-1.0 mm smaller than the diameter you need. Example: If your OEM part measures 12mm then you would use a boot approx 11.5mm – 11mm in diameter at that dimension. This ensures a good tight fit that will seal correctly.
- Height Dimension: Proper Height will ensure the boot stays seated when installed. It is a measurement of the entire boot, top to bottom.
