Energy Suspension Package Deal 080
Rough Riding Mustang?
A sports car like the Ford Mustang is renowned for its ability to perform. But, like all vehicles, it's performance will slowly deteriorate. Reduced handling, excessive leaning around turns, and rattling or grinding sounds are all common signs of suspension wear. Once these symptoms start your Mustang's performance will progressively get worse until you fix it. Which, thanks to Energy Suspension, shouldn't be too difficult.
The Total Package
This is Energy Suspension Package Deal 080, a complete set of polyurethane suspension bushings for the 2011 - 2013 Ford Mustang. Included in this package deal we have the front and rear control arm bushings, the front and rear sway bar bushings, the rear track bar bushings, and an optional manual transmission shift stabilizer.
Restore Your Control
Loose steering, rapid tire wear, and rattling sounds underneath your Mustang are all signs of worn OE control arm bushings. The OE bushings installed on your Mustang are made of soft rubber. This rubber is prone to warping and cracking over time, eventually falling away completely. Energy Suspension's polyurethane bushings are resistant to both physical wear and road contaminants, making them much more dependable than the old rubber. By replacing those worn rubber bushings with Energy Suspension's polyurethane you'll not only restore your Mustang's performance, but you'll also make it last even longer.
Safer Corners
If you feel like your Mustang leans more than it should while taking corners you may want to check your sway bar bushings. Made of the same soft rubber as the control arm bushings, your OE sway bar bushings are vulnerable to the same warping and cracking. As the sway bar bushings deteriorate your sway bar is left loose, reducing your handling, causing you to lean further while cornering, and potentially banging into other chassis parts, causing additional damage. Replacing those worn OE bushings with new Energy Suspension bushings will ensure top performance and safety while turning.
Lightning Fast Responses
If your Mustang pulls to either side, is hard to turn, or has extra play in the steering wheel you may be dealing with worn track bar bushings. Again made of the same soft rubber, OE track bar bushings are important for maintaining the response time between driver and vehicle. With new Energy Suspension bushings installed, your Mustang will be even more responsive than when it was new.
Make Your Mustang Dependable Once Again
Over the past several years the Ford Mustang has created issues for manual transmission users. Multiple reports of sloppy shifters, "notchy" gear shifts, and slipping gears have steered some people away from the Mustang. Energy Suspension designed a bushing to once again tighten the shifter, removing the imprecise feel and reducing the chance of it slipping. For those with an automatic transmission, this stabilizer is necessary and can be removed from the package deal. But if you have a manual transmission this stabilizer, combined with the rest of Energy Suspension Package Deal 080, will bring your Mustang's A-game back. In addition, all of the parts included in Energy Suspension Package Deal 080 are covered by Energy Suspension's two-year warranty handled in-house here at DST.
